We are a family owned pizzeria and are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza and Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices
- Great team player
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Provide exceptional service by ensuring that each pizza meets quality standards before serving
Experience
- Previous experience in the culinary field, specifically in pizza preparation or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience with dietary department operations or as a dietary aide is a plus
- Familiarity with meal preparation and catering services
- Proficient knife skills
- Background in restaurant or kitchen environments preferred
- Willing to train
